  • When any motor trader buys a vehicle they inform the DVLA about the changes in ownership. The DVLA then, to avoid any keepers to be added to the vehicle, logs the ownership of car as "In trade". That is the reason Dev Buys any Car isn't shown as a registered keeper/owner.

When the car will be sold to any new person, they will have to register themselves as an owner/ keeper of the car with DVLA. If they are unable to do so, and any issue arises, then the investigating authorities, due to their standard processes, will contact the previous known registered owner/keeper (i.e. you) for the same.

When you receive such notice from DVLA, please provide them with the required information and mention the date when you sold the car to us (Dev Buys Any Car) and the address of our Head Office: Unit 8 Lyon Way, Greenford UB6 0BN, United Kingdom
